Reflections 2023 art

National PTA’s Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life. The 2023–2024 Reflections theme is I am Hopeful Because…

Nationally and locally, PTA has supported the “Reflections” Program for 54 years, encouraging millions of students across the nation and in American schools overseas to explore their artistic talents. Roswell High School’s PTSA sponsored “Reflections” Program offers students the opportunity to express themselves for fun, recognition, and competition not only against other students at our school, but at the regional level through North Fulton Council, as well as at the State and National level.

Students in grades 9 through 12 of ALL abilities are called on to submit works in the following categories:

  • Literature
  • Film Production
  • Music Composition
  • Dance Choreography
  • Visual Arts

We are proud to recognize 2022 RHS Reflections winners

Solemn Stare – RHS Reflections Visual Arts Winner, Katelyn Buam, 11th grade.

Class President – RHS & North Fulton Council Reflections Literature Winner, Isabel Zeches, 9th grade.

“My piece is made with watercolor. It is representing a girl with depression. She is feeling helpless and lost. At the last moments of her mental episode, someone comes over to comfort her. She gains a sense of hope. She slowly begins to smile. This piece shows her perspective through her mind and physical being.”

“Class President is about a girl named Jasmine who takes a risk to try out for class president. This script relates to the theme because it is about a girl speaking out and showing her voice to become class president.”

Congratulations, Katelyn and Isabel
